Regenesi wins Monte-Carlo Fashion Awards

REGENESI, a Made in Italy excellence in the production of fashion accessories and objects made entirely from industrial or even post-consumer waste materials, won the SUSTAINABLE FASHION AWARD at the MONTE-CARLO FASHION WEEK event (May 23-27).

The event, which has been hosting fashion shows, presentations and talks since 2013, chose to reward the most talented and ethically responsible designers through the MCFW Sustainable Contest, an event that as usual takes place under the High Patronage of Her Serene Highness Princess Charlène of Monaco.

It was during the gala evening, at the Monte Carlo Opéra, on May 24 that the award was officially presented.

A prestigious recognition that attests Regenesi as a pioneer in the circular economy thanks to the great research work of its founder Maria Silvia Pazzi, who has been dedicated to the project with a green heart and soul since 2008.

Regenesi's creations tell stories, new lives where each object holds a value beyond that of the materials from which it is made and, functionality and style are essential elements for new narratives.

"Receiving this authoritative award honors me greatly and even more it makes me happy to know that the green attitude and wanting to reduce our impact on the environment, today represents a collective awareness. One of the strengths of the Regenesi project lies in the sharing of ideas, and the SUSTAINABLE FASHION AWARD is an additional stimulus to create new synergies and collaborations with those who want to amplify and give new meaning to the green approach, from fashion companies to designers and of course retailers." Declares Maria Silvia Pazzi.
